# Iulia Hălăucescu Art Museum, Tarcău

Opened in November 2003 in the former village school in the home village of painter Iulia Hălăucescu (1924–2007), whom critic Valentin Ciucă called 'the lady of Romanian watercolour'.

Opened in November 2003 in the former village school in the home village of painter Iulia Hălăucescu (1924–2007), whom critic Valentin Ciucă called 'the lady of Romanian watercolour'. Six rooms hold nearly 120 works donated by the artist, her personal belongings and a display of local pottery and craft tools. The museum is accredited by the Ministry of Culture (order no. 2502/2018).
